GALATIANS INSPIRATION
Galatians 6:9-10
Let us not grow tired of doing good, for in due time we shall reap our harvest, if we do not give up. So then, while we have the opportunity, let us do good to all, but especially to those who belong to the family of the faith.
Reflection:
These words were written by Paul to his new converts, the Galatians. He knew they were being tempted and pulled by other missionaries preaching a hybrid Jewish Christian faith. Paul wrote to inspire the Galatians through emphasizing our Christian freedom to choose a life of grace in Christ. Paul’s letter to the Galatians is still relevant today. We are all faced with temptations to practice a hybrid Christian faith, but the reality is that we cannot pick and choose what beliefs we want or do not want. We must embrace the Christian faith as a whole. We do not give God just part of our hearts, we give him our whole heart. Scripture says (1 Timothy 5:18), “A worker deserves his pay” and (Matthew 10:10), “The laborer deserves his keep.” God is and will always be faithful to His promises. May we be forever strong and steadfast to be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
